AType Stencil is a hybrid all caps font designed by Matt Willey featuring stencil letterforms on the upper case and solid characters on the lower case slots. The typeface has distinctively soft, rounded corners on the terminals and counters.
In 2020 Matt became a partner at Pentagram in New York and donated a further 5 type families to BuyFontsSaveLives including AType Stencil. An updated version 2.0 of the font was released in late 2020.
